Berlin

Arrived in Berlin yesterday, staying at the Art 'otel in the Mitte. This hotel is part of a small chain, each hotel dedicated to the work of a single artists. The Mitte unit focusses on George Baselitz, a German painter whose work is installed in the foyer and the rooms. Just getting over jetlag and wandering the streets. Will see what's new in the art scene today and tomorrow and will be meeting various Canadian Studies and embassy personnel over the next few days as well. That's the lobby of the Art 'otel at the right.
